Integrating Shockwave Therapy in the Rehab of Running Injuries.

For STORZ and Venn customers only. 6+ months shockwave experience required.

There is a high-rate of overuse injuries in running and it can be difficult to treat in certain cases. Shockwave is a non-invasive, evidence-based modality which has been proven to be beneficial in the management of chronic tendinopathy in runners. In this 1-day masterclass, the application of shockwave in common running injuries such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, medial tibial stress syndrome, gluteal tendinopathy and proximal hamstring tendinopathy will be covered. The course will also cover relevant management strategies such as load management, strength training, gait retraining which
are relevant in the multi-modal management of running injuries. Practical experience will be gained in the use and application of both radial, focus shockwave & EMTT in common running injuries
The course will begin at 9am and end at approximately 4pm and will be hosted in either our London or Liverpool training centres. There will be a break around midday for lunch, which is provided. Any dietary requirements will be requested after you book.
There will be time once the course ends to ask any specific questions about shockwave therapy or related topics.
